Hong Kong stocks ended slightly higher Friday, bringing the curtain down on a volatile week, with attention focused on the release later in the day of key US jobs data.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.61 percent, or 118.59 points, to 19,539.46.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.23 percent, or 7.62 points to 3,288.08, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange added 0.48 percent, or 9.95 points, to 2,071.59.
