Hong Kong stocks kicked higher Tuesday at the open following another positive day on Wall Street built on hopes the Federal Reserve's campaign of interest rate hikes is over.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.66 percent, or 132.26 points, to 20,211.20.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.07 percent, or 2.28 points, to 3,288.76, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange eased 0.12 percent, or 2.48 points, to 2,067.03.
