Hong Kong stocks turned negative Monday as Chinese officials failed to unveil a hoped-for batch of stimulus measures for the struggling economy.
The Hang Seng Index fell 0.64 percent, or 127.48 points, to close at 19,912.89.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.54 percent, or 17.53 points, to 3,255.81, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange slipped 0.09 percent, or 1.86 points, to 2,081.49.
