A gauge of the dollar consolidated near the lowest level in almost three months as markets prepared for a local holiday both in the US and Japan.
The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index was little changed after touching the lowest level since Aug. 31 on Tuesday. Federal Reserve policymakers united around a strategy to "proceed carefully" on future interest-rate moves, according to minutes of their most recent policy meeting.
Major currencies all traded in tight ranges before Japan's Labor Thanksgiving Day and the US's Thanksgiving Day, both on Thursday.
Treasury 10-year note yield added 1bp to 4.40%.
USD/JPY little changed at 148.32.
AUD/USD held at 0.6552 after closing at 0.6556 on Tuesday.
Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Michele Bullock will deliver a speech at 7:35pm Sydney time on monetary policy.
